My sculptures are seldom an exact representation of an existing location. Usually, they are either totally from my imagination, or a combination of details from many different environments.

I decided to recreate this Greenwich Village landmark location as close to reality as possible. One problem with this endeavor is that not everything in reality is visually interesting, so a certain degree of 'artistic license' was necessary.
